The superintendent race is heating up and the first and only debate for the election has been scheduled for Oct. 17th on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

The debate will be 60 minutes long. Claire McIerny and Eric Weddle will moderate the debate.

How to watch:

The debate will be recorded live and broadcast around the state through public media.

Indianapolis voters can listen on Oct. 17th at 8 p.m. the same day on 90.1 WFYI-FM and 7 p.m. Oct. 23 on WFYI-TV channel 20.1.

The election takes place November 8th and the winner will assume or continue their term January 2017.
